Justification for Headquartering in Liberia
We chose to base our headquarters in Liberia because of its multidimensional investment prospects. The tiny West African country still recovering from a devastating civil conflict that lasted for 14 years, is exceptionally endowed with almost all of the major natural resources on planet earth. Besides, most of the sectors remain grossly underdeveloped because of lack of capital.
Liberia is believed to have the lion share of the rain forests in West Africa, where species of commercial values are in high supply. This includes: logs, gold, diamonds, wild life, etc. In other parts of the country, iron ore and other minerals are in abundance. News of the discovery of oil and other gifts of nature has even comfortably positioned Liberia as a key investment destination.
Additionally, business climate in Liberia is good. The laws are quite business-friendly and non-discriminative. Anyone from any part of the world can register a business in Liberia in less than 72 hours.

Needs/Problems
Liberia currently has an estimated population of nearly 5 million people and located on the west coast of Africa. It has an area of about 111,370 sq km (43,000 sq mi), with a length of 548 km (341 mi) ESE – WNW and a width of 274 km (170 mi) NNE – SSW. Comparatively, the area occupied by Liberia is slightly larger than the state of Tennessee. On the N it is bounded by Guinea, on the E by Côte d'Ivoire, on the S and SW by the Atlantic Ocean, and on the NW by Sierra Leone, with a total land boundary length of 1,585 km (985 mi) and a coastline of 579 km (360 mi). The capital city of Liberia is Monrovia.
Since independence on July 26, 1847, the tiny West African nation has suffered series of civil unrests impeding its growth and development. From 1989 – 2003, the country was devastated by a number of serious civil conflicts which killed more than a quarter million people, destroyed millions of dollars’ worth of properties and left the country’s economy in shambles. Since the end of the wars, the country has been struggling to recover to date. People continue to born, live and die in abject poverty due to lack of empowerment and basic social services. Although efforts are being made to attract different forms of Foreign Direct Investments(FDI) and bilateral support intended to facilitate the national development agenda of the country.
